Erie Railroad Biography - Casius M. Keller

Casius M. Keller, Huntington, IN
From the December, 1908 issue of Erie Railroad Magazine (Huntington News):
Engineer Casius M. Keller is naturally of a jovial disposition and usually shows his feelings in his face. At present Mr. Keller is temporarily out of the smiling business and is congratulating himself that he is not more seriously harmed. In some manner Mr. Keller's head collided with a car standing on a side track while his train was moving at a good speed. An ugly gash over the cheek bone and a generally contused condition of the face resulted. This is probably the first injury Mr. Keller has received in his long career as a railroad man, his good fortune in this respect, without doubt, being largely due to his vigilance and careful running.
