D.B. MILLER
Age 28 years, married, residence Huntington, Ind. No previous experience. Enters C&E service as brakeman, Sept. 12th, 1891.

Suspended 7 days, April 24th, 1892, for damage to switch at North Judson, April 16th. Set back on extra list and reprimanded for quarreling with Conductor Mankin at Rochester, Oct. 18, 1892. Suspended 7 days from Oct. 7th for bucking with switchtender at Huntington, Oct. 7th, 1892. Suspended 5 days from Dec. 9th for not leaving a sufficient number of brakes set on head end of train in Huntington Yard, Dec. 9th, 1892. Train ran through a switch.

On March 31st, 1900, refused promotion to the position of conductor, saying he would prefer to remain a permanent brakeman. See file 3510, Asst. Supt's Office. Also file 16-122, Supt's Office.
