Entered the service as passenger brakeman May, 1890. Refused to take baggage car on 9&10 June 2nd, 1893. Suspended 5 days from June 24th for allowing his train 2nd 12 of June 16th, 1893 to back through the de-rail at Magley. Suspended 15 days for not calling stations according to rule and not paying any attention to the ventilation of coaches in train 2, Feb. 19th, 1895. Promoted to regular run as train baggage agent in through passenger service May 9th, 1900, taking place made vacant by death of (Isaac) Masden. Forced back to the position of passenger brakeman June 22nd, 1900 by O.L. Wilder taking his baggage run.
