E.W. KING
Age 24, married, enters service Oct. 23rd, 1889 as brakeman.

Suspended 15 days July 29th for refusing to go out when called on 1st. 83, Mankin conductor, and for failing to have car properly supplied with oil, dope, etc. He objected to his conductor, would not go with Mankin.

Discharged August 28 for failing to protect rear of train at Laketon Aug. 16th resulting in serious rear end collision.

Reinstated by order of the Gen. Supt. Oct. 29, 1891. Promoted to freight conductor June 14th, 1895. Suspended one round trip from Dec. 22nd for shoving a car over stop block on spur at Crown Point on No. 82, Dec. 16th, 1896. Suspended 15 days from April 4th for allowing his train (No. 83, March 17th, 1897) to run the Wabash crossing at Newton, when interlocker was out of use and had orders to come to a dead stop, he being near brakeman. Suspended one round trip for handling 3 cars to Huntington on scratched bills in 1st 82, April 5, 1897.

Died April 21st, 1902 at Huntington from tuberculosis of throat.
