Frank James Chapman was employed by the Erie Railroad as Leading Maintainer on the Wyoming Division out of Hawley, PA. Born on June 14, 1898, he hired on with the Erie on May 26, 1916 and worked into the Erie Lackawanna era when he was transferred on August 6, 1963.
