Suspended 5 days for his share of the responsibility for the derailment of engine 562 at Ora on 87, Oct. 31st, 1897. Pulled off to reduce the force Nov. 23, 1897. Reemployed Feb 3rd, 1898. Discharged to reduce the force July 28th, 1898. Reemployed Sept. 4th, 1898. Assigned to service as extra passenger brakeman.
