Age 35, married. Entered service July 13th, 1890 as brakeman. Previously with CW&M for one year as brakeman and 6 months as locomotive fireman.

Suspended 15 days from Jan. 6th for not protecting rear of his train at Palmer, Jan. 5th, 1893, resulting in an accident. Suspended 7 days for damage to switch at 51st Street Yard, July 6th, 1893. Discharged Oct. 25th, 1893 for leaving main track switch open for No. 2 at Hammond on Extra 513 West on Oct. 8th, 1893.
