H.M. GUTHRIDGE
Entered service January 27th, 1887. Age 36 years. Present occupation passenger brakeman 12/15/1888. Promoted to flagman trains 3 and 12, April 1st, 1892.

Suspended 10 days Jan. 22nd, 1892 for getting left and failing to report. Refused a baggage car on 9&10 June 3rd, 1893. Suspended 6 days from August 28th, 1893 for standing on arm rests of seats to light up coaches. Taken off as flagman on 3&12 August 8th, 1895 and assigned to 13&14 as passenger brakeman on account of the fact that he was unable to stay awake on the night runs, and being proud to be a loyal employe this step taken to save his job.
