JOHN JOSEPH HEAVEY
Born Roscommon, Ireland, July 13, 1868. Entered service Sept. 16th, 1889 as brakeman. 22 years old, unmarried.

Suspended 15 days for cutting off engine at east end of Disko cutoff on Dec. 5th, 1889 before setting brakes on the train, the forward part ran into the rear platform.

Promoted to conductor Sept. 14, 1891.

Reprimanded for derailing Vandalia car 7714 at Akron on No. 31, Feb. 16th, 1894, was making a running switch and attempted to throw switch when he did not have sufficient room.
