J.N. CREAMER
Entered service as conductor April 5th, 1884. Age 42, 03/13/1889; married.

Suspended 5 days June 10th, 1889 for leaving 2 cars oil for Toledo at the CJ&M "Y" at Enterprise instead of putting them on the T, StL and KC "Y" where they belonged.

Assessed $4.84 for damaging cars at Markle July 25th, 1889. Cautioned account of splitting sill on CHV&T 6449 at Marion October 31, 1889 while coupling up train. See Form 176 #507.

Assessed for damage to cars at Marion Yard Nov. 15th, 1889 (Report 698). Suspended 10 days April 20th, 1890 for allowing 5 drawbars to be broken on his train at Markle March 22nd. Carelessness. Whole crew suspended.

Reprimanded for being concerned in the backing three cars of train 2/84 off the track at Marion Yard 03/27/1890 and given to understand that a repetition of the offense would not be overlooked.

Suspended 10 days July 2nd for laying on side track at Decatur 2 hours 10 minutes before he came to the office for orders. Suspended 5 days from Nov. 15th, 1892 for failure to stop at Wren for express as ordered. Suspended 10 days from Dec. 28th for running red block at Westminster on #90, Dec. 26th, 1893. Suspended 10 days from March 23rd, 1894 for not having his men at their places when making a stop at Lima crossing March 13th. Head brakeman was in engine, conductor near brakeman and fireman in caboose. Train parted and collided. He was also reprimanded for making a false statement at investigation of above. Claimed his brakemen were on top which was proven false.

Promoted to regular run on passenger train June 20th, 1895. Returned to freight service of his own choice Aug. 21st, 1895. Requested to be allowed to resume work as extra passenger conductor Dec. 7th, 1896, which was granted.

Reprimanded for detatching 100 miles short on Ohio Division mileage book 11773 from passenger traveling from Chicago to Youngstown on No. 12 Sept. 1st, 1897, Atlantic Division 120.

In a written communication from Supt. Reynolds under date of July 10th, 1898, requested that Creamer by placed on roster of passenger conductors just below Conductor J.M. Sewell, which was granted. See file 27997, Supts. Office, Lima Division.
