Granted 30 days leave of absence Dec. 12th, 1899 to nurse sick daughter. Above leave of absence extended 30 days January 12th, 1900. Failed to report at the expiration thereof amd up to May 1st nothing further heard from him, and is dropped from the service May 1st, 1900.
