A notice in the Port Jervis Union gave the facts concerning the death of Morris Henry Kane, employed as engineer on the Delaware Division. He died at his home in Port Jervis of an affection of the heart after a brief illness at the age of 74 years. He was a native of Saratoga County, NY and came to Port Jervis 43 years ago. He entered the Erie service as trainman, later becoming a fireman, from which he was promoted to engineer.
