Entered service as brakeman Dec., 1887. Suspended 10 days Feb. 10th, 1889 for leaving switch unlocked at Aldine and not reporting it to conductor. Suspended one wek Feb. 15th for allowing head end of train to run to Monterey after breaking in two at Germany.

Promoted to conductor Aug. 30, 1891. Suspended 7 days from April 3rd for allowing his train (2nd 86) to strike 1st 84 west of crossing at North Judson, March 25th, 1893. Suspended 7 days from Nov. 6th for pulling down to back in at North Judson on short time on 1st 8, Oct. 12th, 1893, on Extra 112 West, delayed 1st 8 7 minutes. Suspended 7 days from Nov. 14th for leaving NYLE&W 29580 (rush freight) at Monterey on 2nd 90, Oct. 13th, 1893, account of rough journal and failed to report the fact which resulted in 6 days delay to car. Suspended 5 days for damage to a switch at 51st Street Yard, Jan. 16th, 1894.

Dismissed for violation of Rule 202 at Huntington, Feb. 28th, 1895, in effect March 7th.
