Garnished 1/31/1889 by Rathburn. Suspended June 3rd, 1886 for not being on top and having train under control approaching Hulberts station, May 28, 1889.

Promoted to extra conductor Oct. 6th, 1889.

Reprimanded for getting cars off track in Hammond Yard on account of switch having been left wrong, Dec. 15th, 1889. Suspended 10 days April 15th for careless way of taking care of his train at Palmer April 14, resulting in serious delay to other trains. Also reprimanded for allowing his brakeman Bowman to remain on duty drunk. Suspended 5 days May 20th for running from State Line to Hammond ahead of No. 56 without orders April 7th. Disregard of rule.

Suspended one week, Nov. 3, 1891 for quarreling with Conductor Thompson. Suspended 10 days, Jan. 10th, for hauling two loads to Chicago on December 10th which were routed via Griffith.

Failed to take siding at Kouts on 2nd 14 of Jan 28, 1892 for No. 53, as required. Suspended 7 days from Nov. 1st for allowing his train, 2nd 83 of Oct. 27th, 1892 to run off derail at Newton. Suspended 7 days from Feb. 10th for failure to take cars from Hammond on Supt's order on 2nd 85, Jan. 8th, 1893. Suspended 5 days for laying off without permission resulting in serious delay to Erie connection of 81 at Hunt's, Dec. 21st, 1893

Reprimanded for not clearing No. 12's time at Germany on 1st 86 at Rochester March 14th, 1894, held No. 12 eleven minutes. Absent witout permission, March 16th, 1894. Suspended 7 days. Severely reprimanded for holding main track doing switching at Hammond on No. 13's time on 1st 82, March 31st, 1894. Suspended 10 days from April 22nd for backing out of east end of Levings after No. 1 had passed Midway on white block, without asking for block or sending back a flag on Extra 519 West, April 14th, 1894.

Dismissed from the service for being absent without leave at Chicago April 21st, 1894. Wanted for 82 and could not be found. Was third offense.
