Port Jervis Personnel File Index
Several decades ago, Blake Tatar rescued boxes of personnel records from the Port Jervis roundhouse just prior to their scheduled destruction. He has kept them safe all these years and in 2010 donated them to the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, PA. Steamtown volunteers, led by Historian/Archivist Patrick McKnight, have catalogued and indexed the files and made them available to researchers. The linked file is a PDF of the index data with one employee per page, searchable through the PDF search box.
