HUSBAND NOTES:
Other sources give William's birthplace as Liverpool, Lancashire, England, with his father's name as David.
William was an attorney of note, bank president and circuit judge, as well as the owner of a large farm. He started the Salt River Masonic Lodge #180 in Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky and held all the offices in the Lodge, including Master. He was also active in the Baptist church in Mt. Washinton. William died of Bright's Disease. He was buried in Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky, USA. The pall bearers at his funeral were Felix Wells, James Markwell, Dr. W.W. Coleman, M.C. Alloway, S.C. Bridwell, and W.A. Hall. The History of Missouri gives William's death date as 1907, and his father's name as David.
WIFE NOTES:
Margaret died at the home of her son, William David. Her funeral was held at the Mt. Washington Baptist Church, and she was buried in the Mt. Washington Cemetery in Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky, USA. [Aunt Mary's Scrapbook of Death & Marriage Clippings 1930-1960, p. 10]
