World War One Service:

1. G. Luther Stahlman30 & A > Son of Moses > George > Moses > Jeremiah > John Sr.

George Luther's (nickname "Josh") grave in the Coolspring Cemetery, Jefferson County, Pa, has a WWI service marker.

2. Claude J. Stahlman45 > Son of George McClelland > Gabriel S. > Jeremiah > John Sr.

Claude was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the Brookville, Pennsylvania American Legion. 

3. Phillip Harbaugh Stahlman82 > Son of Benjamin D. > Solomon > Jacob > John Sr.

Phillip was a veteran of World War I; Phillip served from April 1918 to December 1918.  He was also a charter member of the National American Legion organization and a lifetime member of the Gus E. Warden Post, American Legion, in Endeavor. His son Phillip Harrison Stahlman served in WWII. 

4. Grover A. Stahlman178 > Son of Jacob > Felix > Jacob > John Sr.

Grover was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the WWI Veterans of Barracks 1310 of Clarion, Clarion County Pennsylvania.

5. Frank David Stahlman293 & B > Son of John > Isaac  > Gabriel > John Sr.

Frank David is buried at Pisgah Cemetery, Jefferson County, Pa with a service marker.

6. Harry Labana DingerC > Son of Elias > Peter Dinger. Peter Dinger was married to Ester Stahlman, daughter of Jeremiah Stahlman. Harry Dinger was married to Bessie Stahlman, daughter to Simon > William > Jeremiah > John Sr. Stahlman.

Harry served in the US Army WWI in France and Germany 80th infantry division. He was wounded in the Argonne Forest while on patrol as a sniper.

7. Louis K. StahlmanA > Son of Amos > Noah > John Jr. > John Sr. Stahlman.

Louis served in the New York 108th Infantry Company E during WWI as a private first class.

8. Forrest C. Corbett382 > Husband to Nellie Stahlman. Nellie > John > Felix > Jacob > John Stahlman.

Forrest served in the US Army during WW I.

9. Ralph Albert MohneyD & 43 > Ralph Albert Mohney > Charles Mahoney > Emma (Schuckers) Mahoney > Daniel Schuckers > Nancy (Stahlman) Schuckers > John Stahlman

Ralph was an army  private first class in Company L, 110th Infantry, 28th Division serving in WW I, and received a purple heart. His obituary states in error he served in WW II. (he was registered to serve.)

10. Frank R. Stahlman480 > Frank > Benjamin > Solomon > Jacob > John Stahlman

Frank was an Army veteran of WW I.

11. Lloyd J. Burkett526 > Lloyd > John Burkett. John was married to Emma Schuckers. Emma > Franklin > Daniel > Henry Schuckers. Henry was married to Nancy Stahlman, daughter to John Stahlman.

Lloyd served with the US Army during WW I.

12. Eugene E. Shugars537 > Eugene > Emanuel > Daniel > Henry Schuckers. Henry was married to Nancy Stahlman, daughter to John Stahlman.

Eugene was a veteran of WW I. 

13. Harvey Lester StahlmanE > Harvey > George > Lewis > John Jr. > John Stahlman

Harvey was a WW I veteran, serving before he was married in 1919 to Ethlyn Lock. She had been a Red Cross volunteer at the time. His father George served during the civil war, his son Paul in the Korean Conflict, his son Junior, in WW II and a grandson, Steve, during the Vietnam war.

14. Sidney E. StahlmanA > Sidney > John > John  > John Jr. > John Stahlman

Harvey was a WW I veteran, serving as a sergeant in the US Army.

15. Frank S. McManigle836 > Brother-in-Law to Harry Wallace Stahlman. Harry > George > Gabriel > Jeremiah > John Stahlman

Frank served in the U.S. Navy during World War I.

16. Charles Christian Brinker913 > Charles > A.A. Brinker > Margaret Stahlman > Samuel > John Stahlman

Charles was a WW I veteran.
