David was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of The National Rifle Association.

2. Theodore E. Altmire 163 > Husband to Eunice S. Stahlman. 

Eunice's line is Eunice > Philip > Benjamin > Solomon > Jacob > John Sr. Stahlman.

An Army veteran, Theodore E. Altmire served during World War II and the Korean conflict and was a member of American Legion Post 140, Greenville.

3. James Monroe Harper 225 > Husband to Shirley Joan Stahlman.

Shirley's line is Shirley > Charles > John  > Dewalt > Jeremiah > John Sr. Stahlman.

James served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

4. Nelson Dinger A > son of Harry > Elias > Peter Dinger. Peter was married to Ester Stahlman, daughter to Jeremiah Stahlman.

Nelson served in the US Army in Korea with Battery B 235th F. A. as a Forward Observer between August 22, 1951 - December 20, 1954.

5. Isaac Eugene Reiner257 > Son of Isaac J. and Iva (Dinger) Reiner. Iva was the daughter of Jacob > Pete Sr. Dinger. Pete was married to Esther Stahlman, a daughter to Jeremiah > John Stahlman

Isaac Eugene Reiner was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the US Navy.

6. Kenneth D. Yates259 > Son of James and Frieda (Dinger) Yates. Frieda was the daughter of Joseph > William > Michael > Fredrick > Johan Peter Sr. Dinger.

Ken served in the Korean conflict from 1952 to 1954 with the U. S. Army as a corporal in the 11th Abn. Division, Military Police.

7. Donald L. Stahlman463 > Son of Donald > Charles > Dewalt > Jeremiah > John Stahlman

Donald was a career Army Air Force man, enlisting in February 1948. He had completed four years service in the Philippines only recently (1966) before being granted his leave. He and his wife and their son, Donald, were in-route home from Manila when Sergeant and Mrs. Stahlman were killed along with Sergeant Stahlman’s uncle, Harry R. Lytle Jr.

Newspaper files show that Sergeant Stahlman was named outstanding non-commissioned officer of the year in the Air Force Advisory Group to the Republic of Korea. The honor was conferred on him for his exemplary conduct and performance of duty.

James was a Navy Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.

9. Richard F. Mohney582 >  Son of Chester > Albert > Adam Mohney. Adam was married to Emma Schuckers. Emma > Daniel Henry Schuckers. Henry was married to Nancy Stahlman, daughter to John Stahlman.

Richard served in the Korean Conflict as a military policeman.

10. Vernon Richard Smith616 >  Son of Clarence E. and Jennie Louella (Stahlman) Smith. Vernon > Jennie Stahlman > Henry > Isaac > Gabriel > John Stahlman

Vernon served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. He was stationed in Germany.

11. Albert C. Burkett633 >  Son of Charles and Emma Himes) Burkett. Charles son of Abraham and Lydia (Stahlman) Burkett. Lydia > John > Simon > Solomon >John Stahlman. Emma (Himes) Burkett daughter to Michael and Laura (Stahlman) Himes. Laura > George > Moses > Jeremiah > John Stahlman.

Albert was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Leonard was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served during the Korean era.

Paul was a Korean Conflict veteran. His brother Junior served in WW II. His Father Harvey was a WW I veteran and his grandfather George was a Civil War veteran. His nephew Steve was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

Edgar joined the US Army after graduating from college and served in Korea until 1956 when he was honorably discharged.

15. Leon Lafayette Stahlman Jr.701 Son of Leon > Edward > Lafayette > John Jr. John Stahlman.

Leon was a naval veteran of WW II, Pacific Theatre and the Korean War.

16. Harry. I. Geer Jr.749 Son of Harry and Orpha (Stahlman) Geer. Orpha > Charles > Dewalt > Jeremiah > John Stahlman

Harry was a radio operator in the US army and served as a corporal with Company B, 728th MP Battalion during the Korean Conflict.

John was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War, of which he received the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

After high school, Blaine served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict from 1948-1952, attaining the rank of Corporal, and was honorably discharged after.

Albert spent his life serving in the United States Air Force – a life he loved and honored. During his tours of duty he supported combat missions over Korea and Vietnam – while finishing his career on board KC-135 and KC-10 tankers.

William served in the U. S. Army with the 3rd Infantry during the Korean War as a Morse code radio operator.

23. Robert K. Heck882 Robert was married to Marion Stahlman. Marion > Frank > Benjamin > Solomon > Jacob > John Stahlman.

Robert enlisted in the US Army March 6, 1950. He served in Korea as a sergeant in the 2nd Infantry 2nd Signal Corps and was discharged March 31, 1953.

24. Francis W. Merrigan929 Francis was a brother-in-law to Phillip Stahlman. Phillip > Phillip > Benjamin > Solomon > Jacob > John Stahlman

Francis served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Dorsey served in the US Army in the Pacific Theater during WW II and in Korea during the Korean Conflict.

On December 28, 1948 Sidney enlisted in the United States Air Force, served as a senior radio interceptor operator during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on September 17, 1952.

Gerald was in the National Guard before he went on active duty in the army during the Korean conflict.

35. Howard Lewis Buck1246 Howard was the father in law of Melissa Schuckers. Melissa > Mervin > Charles > Homer > Levi > Daniel Schuckers > Nancy Stahlman > John Stahlman

Howard was veteran of the United States Army, having served as Sgt. First Class HV Tank Company, 15th Infantry Regiment in the Korean War from May 28, 1953, to May 16, 1955. During this time period, he was cited for meritorious service and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Army Commendation Medal.

His outstanding dependability and cheerfulness in carrying out his assigned duties materially contributed to the high state of morale in his unit. SFC Buck’s outstanding skill, initiative and untiring devotion to duty reflect the highest credit upon himself and the military service.
