1. Michael R. Stahlman395 > Michael > John > Russell > Gabriel > Felix > Jacob > John Stahlman.

Michael died October 05, 2008 as a result of injuries he received in Iraq in a July 31 2008 non-hostile incident in Anbar province.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger released the following statement: 

"Colonel Michael Stahlman served with courage, pride and an unrelenting commitment to democracy. Californians are forever indebted to his sacrifice and we will never forget his dedication. "Maria and I send our deepest condolences to Michael's family and friends during this difficult time." The governor has ordered Capitol flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of Col. Stahlman. 

 Colonel Michael Stahlman is the highest ranking marine to have died from this military action.

Daniel served as an ensign in the US Navy Stationed in The Persian Gulf
