A DESCRIPTION from the NATIONAL ARCHIVES:

E179/89/306

This document, a roll of one rotulet made up of four membranes, is an individual assessment for the second of two subsidies granted to Charles I in 1625, for the hundred of Powder, Cornwall.

The document is dated 15 April 1626 and the commissioners are named as Charles Trevanion and Hugh Boscawen, esquires, whose signatures appear on the document. The collector is named as Bernard Tanner esquire.

The document is endorsed with an undated note of delivery.
