The California Military Museum http://www.militarymuseum.org	Library, research center and bookstore dedicated to CA military history. Very helpful on CA volunteers.
California State Library http://www.library.ca.gov/	In Sacramento, has complete catalog online with links to other Calif. libraries. Not much assistance for e-mail help.
