1.  SAMUEL³ STEPHENS  (JOHN² STEPHENS*****, UNKNOWN¹ STEPHENS) was born 1761 in Freehold, Monmouth Co., New Jersey   (was a merchant), and died December 03, 1803 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia.  He married REBECCA HALSTEAD February 22, 1790 in Monmouth Co.,New Jersey, daughter of UNKNOWN HALSTEAD and UNKNOWN.  She was born September 30, 1751 in Monmouth,New Jersey, and died May 24, 1809 in Philadephia,Pennsylvania.

2.  WILLIAM⁴ STEPHENS (SAMUEL³, JOHN² STEPHENS*****, UNKNOWN¹ STEPHENS) was born January 11, 1791 in Monmouth Co.,New Jersey  (was a talented Artist), and died 1852 in Philadephia,Pennsylvania.  He married MARY SOPHIA PICARD in Philadephia,Pennsylvania, daughter of PETER PICARD and MARY UNKNOWN.  She was born 1796 in Philadephia,Pennsylvania, and died 1868 in Philadephia,Pennsylvania.

4. i. HENRY GRANVILLE⁶ STEPHENS, b. September 04, 1862, Monmouth Co.,New Jersey??  (was a terra cotta manufacturer)  (lived in John,Sr's old home); d. January 18, 1946, Wayne,Pennsylvania (near Philadephia)  (buried in family plot in Ralway,New Jersey).

4.  HENRY GRANVILLE⁶ STEPHENS (HENRY LEWIS⁵, WILLIAM⁴, SAMUEL³, JOHN² STEPHENS*****, UNKNOWN¹ STEPHENS) was born September 04, 1862 in Monmouth Co.,New Jersey??  (was a terra cotta manufacturer)  (lived in John,Sr's old home), and died January 18, 1946 in Wayne,Pennsylvania (near Philadephia)  (buried in family plot in Ralway,New Jersey).  He married ADELINE "ADDIE" IUCHO SEAMEN.  She was born 1867.
