Bird was so lame this A.M. Could scarcely step. They put hot tar in the hole the nail made. Left Aunt Mardabol 1:20P.M. reached Uncle James 7 P.M. A beautiful day. Auntie & Uncle had just returned from Auburn. Ma was quite surprised to see me. AND HOW MY HEART DOES BEAT IN REMBRANCE OF ONEICA.

Today is thanksgiving and Uncle, Auntie, Ma & I took dinner with Bro. Wm and family. In morning heard sermon by the Rev. Hoyett & a prayer by the Rev John Rogers. Alice & I went up to Matron to see about Ma's dress. Mont called in the eavning. Bird was not quite so lame. ANOTHER THANKSGIVEN AND JASPER WHERE IS.

Findes me at Auntie's. Have been busy all day. Alice came up little while. At night went to Bro. Wm. We had jollry time making saucage. Ela Matoon called. Mont & Benjamin had great romp. AND JUST THE WAY GEORGE GAVE ME MY GLOVES. Helped Alice do up her work. Came up to Aunties and cleaned up the kitchen. In afternoon Mont came after me. We went to Auburn after Jennie. She did not come. I had beautiful Xmas present given to me today. It was from Mont. I did not intend he should make me such a pres, but he did it to slie* & seemed very much pleased.

MY HOW MY THOUGHTS GOWS BACK TO THIS DATE THREE MONTHS WHEN FIRST MET GEORGE J. F. Listened to the Rev. J. A. Rogers. The text was John 6.35 and a great help it was to me. At night he delivered another good sermon, be ye not puffed up. Auntie & uncle did not gow. My how bright. I wrote Jennie & Annie. Mont took Will to Moravia.

Ma is 68 yrs old today. My, my 68. Alice worked on Bro. Wm jacket & I fixed Ma's skirt. Has been ples. part of the day. At night went up to Aunties. In eavning had music. Mr. Wm Pits brought mouth organ & I played cords on the piano. It snowed little this eavning. HOW OFTEN I HAVE THOUGHT OF GEORGE TODAY ALSO OF OTHERS TOO.

Alice got washing out on line at 12 12 in afternoon. Mrs. S. Church called. I went up to Aunties little while. Came back to Bro. Wm. Worked on Ma's skirt. Alice worked on her scar. Has been quite ples. The Shermons called. Mr. Pits come down to bro. Wm. He & Wm. Had good time playing with juice harp and mouth organ Bennie tried to light segar like Mont.

The clothes did not get dry. I finished Ma's skirt. Only gathering the back. I GOT LITTLE PERVOKED LAST NIGHT AT MONT BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT GOW HOME. I FELT CROSS AND THEN I DO NOT LIKE TO BE TW SIDED AND HE WILL NOT BELIEVE HE IS MISSTACONED WHEN I TELL HIM JUST SUCH WORDS THAT IS THE TRUTH BUT I CAN NOT TELL HIM MY SECRETS NO GEORGE I

Have been very busy all day. Fixing Auntie's waist & Ma's skirt. The Mrs. Sherman's called to see Auntie. Alice brought basket clothes up. Ma & I attended prayer meeting, not many out. My how the wind did blow. Received letter from Jennie. My how my feet did hurt. WHAT.

Has stormed nearly all day. At night Bro. Wm, Alice, Mary, Bennie B., & I went up to Mr. Wilsons. Mont was quite sick. Had very bad throat. Ena & Bro. Wm had great time popping corn & cracking nuts. Bennie had good time. Mr. Wilson was sick & had to retire. Quite ples. HOW STRANGE I FELT AS I SIT BY THE STOVE AND I WAS THINKING OF GEORGE O MY HEART.

The text this A.M was Mark 8.24. I went up to Ella Matoons. Fixed Ma's sleefs. Alice Brockaw was there helping. In afternoon finished Ma's skirt. Went down to Bro. Wm. Had just retired when B. came back and Mr. Wm Pits came back with him. Had treat of candy. Uncle James, Mr. J. A. Rogers & Bro. Wm went to Auburn. GEORGE DO YOU THINK OF ME TODAY.

I went this morn instead of *. Attended services at the reformed church this A.M. In Eaving went to Presbyterian Church. Has been a beautiful day. Mr. Isac Hornbeck took dinner with Uncle's folks. Alice come up little while. AS I RETIRED THIS NIGHT SEEMED MY THOUGHTS WERE FILLED WITH THE THOUGHT OF GEORGE THAN EVER. AH WHY IS IT I DO NOT KNOW BUT I GUESS I LOVE HIM.

Has stormed all forenoon. Alice washed, I canned apples. In afternoon went to store, got two cans of baking powder 30 cts. Got two drawing slates. Fine draw. Mr. Bodine gave me nice board. I practiced new piece entitled Ethel. Fixed the gathers in Ma's sleefs. Got letters from Annie. WHY DID SHE NOT SAY SOMETHING TO LET ME KNOW.

Auntie made pie & I pealed apples. Ma does not feel very well. Auntie had bad time with her head. Mr. Wm Pitts called. Played few pieces. Has been quite ples. As the clock struck nine this MY MINDE WENT WANDERING THINKING WHAT EVER MAY GEORGE BE THINKING OF JUST AS IT DOES AT 9 PM.

Came to Aunties this afternoon. Dr. Mack was here. Had nice visit with him. Auntie was feeling quite bad. Mrs. Rogers called. There were just twelve people to prayer meeting. Ma had not gone to bed when I got back. My but it is cold tonight, but a beautiful day. AT NINE I THINK OF THE TIME GEORGE said I will think of you at 9 PM.

Today is Uncle James DePuy's birthday. He is 78 years old. Mary Ann gave him a hdcf. I went up to see the Broadhead girls. One is 88 one 87 one 82. Had nice visit. Mont & I went home with Mary. Has been a beautiful day. Alice was over to Mrs. Aunnermons when we got there. Bro. Wm & dor Dovon was playing dominos. I made them tea. AT 11 MY HOW DID I TO KNOW WHEN.

Has been quite ples. Uncle James & Alice went to Auburn. Today is prepartory lecture. I went up to Auntie few min. At night Alice tried to sew on some fur. Bro. Wm has been sick all day. Dor helped do the chores. Mr. Pitts called. Had music. Mont came, was feeling little better. My how nearvous I am. AT 9 P.M. I THINK OF GEORGE AND DOES HE KEEP HIS WORD.

I DO THINK IN MY HEART HOW WILL I. The sacrament was administered this day by the Rev. John A. Roger. It rained little. I took dinner with Uncle, Auntie and mother. Went down to Bro. Wm at night. Felt quite heavy on the *. Mary & the Mark Aliger girls went to meeting. I had letter last night from Jennie. Today if my papa was living he would be 65 yrs old. MY HOW TIME DOES FLY.

Had great talk wiyh bro. Wm this A.M. He got angry at me & I just laughed for it was to rediculas. Alice washed. I peeled apples. Mr. Mark Aliger called. Also Mrs. D. Devoo & daughter, Mrs. L. Amerman, Mr. Pitts, Mont, Miss Shermon & Kingon girl. Mrs. Rogers came over little while. Has been a beautiful. Mr. Roger called to Bro. Wm. My my my how the wind did blow all day. The quier met over here to practice as could not build fire over to the church. I have been with the Broadhead girls all day. Helped them quilt. One of them is quite feabel. Auntie feels very little better today. Helped Alice fix the * on her cape. MY GEORGE HOW OFTEN I HAVE THO.

A beautiful day today. Alice starts for Michigan. I have been up to Aunties. I dressed chicking & Alice made pie & cake for her lunch. Mary & I went to prayer meeting. Ma did not feel like going.

Attended services at the Presbyterian church and went to Saboth school at Reform church. Did not go to church at night.

Went to church and helped trim church. In afternoon fixed one side of pantry. At night went over to church to Xmas tree. I got new dress & eprin. Auntie got book. Ma Hdkf, Uncle necktie. Mary several pres. & Bro. Wm Hkdf. It rained until quite late. Lena Depuy called while I was at *.

This day has been one of pleasure. Have been up to Aunties all day. Had call this A.M. from the Rev. J. A. Rogers. They go to Cayuga. Oya's uncle called this A.M. too.

Finished fixing the pantry this forenoon. In afternoon went to Aunties.

Sweept the up stairs & closspers (?). Went over to Aunties little while. Retired quite early tonight as I am quite tired.

I stayed to sabath school. Listened to good sermon by the Rev. J. A. Roger. Has been a beautiful day. Went up to Aunties after dinner. Bro. Wm went down to Alligers. Mary & I went back to house. I washed and the wind whipped the clothes off of the line in the wind. I went to Aunties. Invited them down to New Years to dinner. My how the wind did blow. Mr. C. Bevere, Mr. C. Austin, Mr. F. THUS ONO MORE YEAR HAS GON FOR ME. Just 4 years today since I took the NAME OF MC*AY FOR WELL I CAN NOT SAY AND TODAY IM ALL ALONE O SO ALONE BUT IT IS BEST IT IS AS IT IS FOR I HOPE HE IS HAPPY UP ABOVE.
