At St. Norbert Church, the sacrament of Confirmation was an annual right of passage for all eighth-graders attending the adjoining elementary school. The Detroit Archdiocese apparently furnished these cards to everyone being confirmed, as Sue /Thorpe/ Sabo proves by this display. Her card is signed by Cardinal John Deardon and St. Norbert Parish priest, Father William Pettit.
