A conversation with HRH Prince Charles in the CPOs
mess aboard HMS Invincible in 1980. Brian is the middle
one of the 3 CPOs. Brian completed 35 years of service with the Royal Navy starting as a Naval Air Mechanic and advancing to the rank of Warrant Officer in the post of Deputy Aircraft Maintenance Group Officer at NAS Yeovilton. He saw service on several ships including Ark Royal and had responsibility for work on a variety of aircraft such as the Sea Harrier as well as participating in missile firings. |
