THE MEMORIAL CANDLE IS LIT COMMEMORATIVE TALK THE ACT OF REMEMBRANCE We remember especially Sergeant Reginald FITZGERALD from this village , whose 31 Squadron SAAF Liberator was posted missing over Italy on the night of 12/13 October 1944 and has no known grave. We also remember his fellow crewmen who died with him: Major Selwyn S. URRY, South African Air Force Flying Officer George E. HUDSPITH, Royal Air Force Lieutenant Geoffrey A.
