FITZGERALD CLOSE

Sgt R C Fitzgerald lived in Staplehurst and the Staplehurst Parish Council decided to name a Close in his memory. Six houses have been built by Golding Homes in a street which has now been named Fitzgerald Close. In addition a wooden bench, suitably inscribed, has been donated by the Fitzgerald family and installed in the grounds.

On 12th August 2015 a short service was held in Fitzgerald Close in his memory.
