PORTRAIT GALLERY p3
A little story - some time ago the daughter of Alice Russell, Alice Russell Mills, showed a photograph of old Captain Skerry to 'Fran' Storm and asked where the photo was taken. The captain was standing in front of a cottage with railings. Fran searched high and low over many years but couldn't place them. One day in BELMONT PLACE he showed the photo to an old friend and asked "Where are these ----- railings? "Why! You are leaning on them", was the reply! And so he was.
