STORM RETIREMENT VILLAGE

Edward James Storm 1881-1954 was the grandson of master mariner James Storm born Robin Hood's Bay 1821 and the son of Edward Storm who emigrated to Australia in the 1880s. Edward James married Jane Elizabeth Walker in1906 and they lived in Taree, New South Wales, where Edward had a successful jewel business. They had a daughter, Valerie 1907-1984. On her death Valerie left a large sum of money that led to the creation of the Storm Retirement Village.
