Mathew Peacocks Assignment of his house to Bartholomew Storm and his wife 1718.
Indre made 2nd December 5 George 1718
Between Mathew Peacock of WREGATEHEAD PITTS in ffyling Dales,
ffisherman and Bartholomew Storme of Robinhood bay ffisherman and
Mercy his Wife
Whreas in and by indre of lease 29 April 8 Ann between 1. Mathew
Storme of R H Bay and 2, John Skinner and Isaac Temple M.S. did
demise grant of the former lease unto Isaac Temple & John
Skinner
All that ground being part of place called PITTS PLAINE
containing in length from East to West 48 yards, in breadth at
the West end 15 yards & 2 foot And at the East end in breadth
24 yards Bordering at the East end and on a little Brook or
runnell, on the South on the Beck bank or Brea called King-beck
and on the West and North on the lands of Mathew Storme as it was
then boundried and sett forth . . . all in ffyling Dales and were
then in the tennure of Isaac Temple and John Skinner . . .
reserving a sufficient way for horse and foot for Mathew Storme
to pass and repass unto his grounds in the West End thereof
called Wregatehead pitts.
To hold . . . unto I.T. and J. S. for 1000 years.
Under the yearly rent of twopence payable to Mathew Storme on the
ffeast day of St Michaell the Archangell if demanded
And whereas I. T. and J. S. afterwards agreed to divide the said ground that each might know their own parts And I.T. fell for his part the Westernmost End and to J.S. the easternmost End . . as in & by their Deed of Division 6 May 1710
