William and Elizabeth resided near Brick Meeting House MD. William was a well-known citizen of Nottingham MD. He was for many years a member and elder of Friends' meeting. He owned and resided upon part of the land taken up by the first of his ancestors, who are generally supposed to have come from Ireland. William was a fuller or clothier.
