Resided on a property in Nottingham MD (sic), which he inherited from his father. [Nottingham, Chester County PA, was part of a border dispute between Lord Baltimore and William Penn. The Mason-Dixon line later resolved the dispute and split the town between what is now Nottingham PA and Rising Sun, Cecil County MD.]
