Richard, Lord De La Warr, was Knight of
the Garter and Knight of the Bath the 7th Baron, fought for the House of Lancaster in the War of the Roses. He married: 1st Catherine, daughter of Robert, Lord Hungerford. On his death, Mar. 10, 1475/6 at the age of 45, Richard was succeeded by his eldest son, Thomas, Lord De La Warr.
Richard married Lady Katherine HUNGERFORD, daughter of Lord Robert HUNGERFORD and Baroness Margaret BOTREAUX, before June 10, 1451 in England. (Lady Katherine HUNGERFORD was born 1432 in Farleigh-Hungerford, Somersetshire, England and died May 12, 1493 in England.)
