1809 March 13 Hands to work on Road laid out from Cowford on the Ohoopie River to intersect the Liberty Road at Bryan Lane on the Beard’s Creek: Joel Strickland, Aaron Strickland, Henry Strickland, A. Strickland, William Strickland.
Robert Hussey to be allowed the sum of 90 dollars for keeping Flora Vince for 3 months to be well attended to in the present deranged state, the expense to be paid in proportionale parts of the poor tax annually till the whole is discharged. (Is this the Flora Strickland who married Richard Vince?)
1810 June 5 Named to serve on Petit Jury:  Aaron Strickland, Archibald Strickland, Lewis Strickland, Joel Strickland, Jno. Strickland.
1812 January Robert Henry presented account for nursing and maintenance of Flora Ann Vince up to first of Jan 1811 for $240. Received and allowed.
1813 March 1 Drawn to serve as juror at next Inferior Court:  Lewis Strickland
1814 March 7 Named to serve as Petit Juror next term:  Aaron Strickland, Joel Strickland, Archd. Strickland
A road ordered to be opened from Dees ferry on Ohoopee passing Westberry’s Mill, Beard’s Creek meeting house, to intersect the road by James Smith’s to Savannah. Lewis Strickland and Dennis Cason named surveyors. Reuben Strickland appt. to work on such road.

1818 August 15 Grand Jury named:  Lewis Strickland, No. 37
  Petit Jury named:  Gadi Strickland, No. 5,  James Stricklin, No. 20;  Aaron Strickland, No. 42;  Reuben Strickland, No. 48;  Henry Strickland, No. 69;  Aaron Strickland (R.A.), No. 106 -  A note in the book says this Aaron had red hair. The R.A. stands for Red Aaron;  David Stricklin, No. 161;  Joel Stricklin, No. 188; John Stricklin, No. 193.
1819 August 2 Jury sworn to serve:  Gadi Strickland;  Lewis Strickland and others named one of commissioners to lay out a road from near James McLeod’s in the most direct way to intersect the Darien Road;  Gadi Strickland has taken poor child Issabella Snider for one month on former terms (don’t know what former terms means).

1821 August Ordered that William Johnson, Richard Thompson, and Gadi Strickland be appointed commissioners to view the ground for a road from Anderson’s Ferry on the Ohoopee to nearest and best road to Johnson’s ferry on Canoochee River and report at next court.
1823 Feb 10 Petit Jury: Henry Strickland
  Ordered that Dennis Cason, Henry Strickland and John Maddox appointed to view the most elegible place for a road from the Savannah Road where it intersects Thomas Creek so as to intersect Beard’s Creek at or near Matthew Jones Mill and report to next court.
1823 May 29 Jurors for trial of a slave charged with offense of burglary: Vincent Strickland named on jury.
1823 August 11 Henry Strickland, Sands Standley and Stephen Matlock appointed commissioners of roads in Capt. Padgett’s District for 12 months;   Jury for trial of a slave charged with murder: Gadi Strickland name on jury.
1827 Feb Henry Strickland appointed commissioner of roads in Capt. Dees’ district, along with Elijah Maddox and Samuel Surrency.  Lewis Strickland, Matthew Dees, Joseph Durrence appointed commissioners to lay out a road from O’Neal’s Ferry on the Canoochee to Carter’s Ferry on the Altamaha

1931 Feb 14 Gadi Strickland named as juror. Henry Strickland appointed commissioner of road in Capt. Southwell’s district.
1837 May 10 William Strickland named coroner (son of Gadi Strickland)

1818 April Term Aaron Strickland named informant of card playing by two men for money on the night of April 6 in Grand Jury room.
Named as Superior Court Jurors for following years (this information helps to prove that these Stricklands were in Tattnall during early years of 1800)
