now this is original and true ! Upon having the bird just a few days, whom at that time
was very tame, the bird was allowed to fly about freely in the apartment. Having a friend
over whom drank Black Russians.... the bird proceeds to land on the glass and take a big
swig, then another....... after 3 healthy gulps for a bird, the bird passes out in the
glass head first, had to be pulled out by his tail feathers, and revived. to this day the
bird still loves any kind of beer or mixed drink. what a bird ! 4 ozs kaulua 2 ozs vodka over ice......... ! |

Irish Coffee Nog
3 tbs. instant coffee Dissolve coffee in whiskey add rest, whip until smooth and chill. Pour into punch bowl, serve with whipped cream.

This was made in 2 pitchers, one without vodka, one with, the one with was placed under the table - to fool the Gma - the one without was placed on the table. - This is an outside gathering of the Landreth clan at that time. Gma was a teetotaler - OK. Everyone is enjoying one glass of lemonade. The little terrier dog comes about and decides to drink what is under the table. Well...he runs smack into a tree............! Lemonade with vodka to taste... and regular lemonade made from lemon sugar and water with ice added.
