1. Richard1 SULLINS was born at British Isles(?). He married _____ _____ prob. 1730's. He died circa 1771 at Halifax Co., VA.

In Halifax County, Virginia, March Court 1760, Richard SULLINS appeared in the custody of the Sheriff pursuant to an order of last Court. Charged with passing a counterfeit bill of Virginia currency, SULLINS declared that he received the bill of William FUQUA, whereupon said FUQUA was summoned.

Halifax Co., VA, Land Grants Book #33, p. 755, recorded that on 3 March 1760 he was granted 400 acres for 40 shillings in Halifax Co., Virginia, by King George II. On 17 July 1765 he appeared on the Halifax Co., VA, election poll list. An inventory of his estate was recorded in Halifax Co., VA, Will Book O, p. 313-14 on 15 Aug 1771.
