Deed poll bearing date the 18th day of December 1818 and under the Hand and Seal of Catherine Green (Widow) of Sydney in the Territory of New South Wales, whereby for the considerations therein mentioned she the said Catherine Green did bargain sell assign transfer and make over unto Mr. John Lowrie of Sydney aforesaid his heirs or assigns for ever.

All that allotment of Ground lying and being situate on the west side of Castlereagh Street and bounded on the South by Jones allotment and on the North by Nelson's allotment measuring in the front 45 feet and backwards to the west 120 feet. To hold unto the said John Lowrie his Heirs or assigns which said Deed Poll is witnessed by Geo. Tubb and was registered at one of the Clock in the Afternoon of the 31st day of December 1818.
