Benjamin Baldwin (1673-1736): m. Hannah Knowlton (1672-1736)
- Baldwin, Charles Candee, The Baldwin Genealogy, from 1500 to 1881, 1881. On p. 618, "12. Benjamin2 Henry1, b. Jan. 20, 1672/3, in Woburn, Mass.; settled in Canterbury, Conn., about 1700, and d. there in 1759. He m. Hannah."
Daniel Baldwin (1705--): 1m. Hannah Partridge (1712-1742), 2m. Hannah Lyman
- Baldwin, Charles Candee, The Baldwin Genealogy, from 1500 to 1881, 1881. On p. 622, "52. Daniel3 Benjamin2 Henry1, was of Norwich, Conn. (that part afterwards Lisbon), after that of Mansfield, Conn. He m. 1st Hannah. ... Hannah d. July 12, 1742, and he m. 2nd --- 16, 1743, Hannah Lyman, of Lebanon. He was then described, in the Norwich Records, as of the Parish of Newent (now Lisbon)."
Daniel Baldwin (1731-1816): m. Anna Knight (1735-1809)
- Baldwin, Charles Candee, The Baldwin Genealogy, from 1500 to 1881, 1881. On p. 632, "101. Daniel4 Daniel3 Benjamin2, b. in Norwich, Conn., Nov. 14, 1731; he resided for a while in Mansfield, Conn.; he removed to Dover, Vt., and d. in 1816. He m., in 1753, Anna or Hannah Knight, who was b. in 1735, and d. in 1809. ... This family disappeared from Connecticut; and it has been suggested that this Daniel was Daniel, of Norwich, Vt., the proprietors' meetings for which place were held in Mansfield, Conn. The children above are not found in Norwich, and I have no doubt Daniel, of Norwich, Vt., was --- of the stock of John of Norwich, Conn. ..."
Henry Baldwin (1624-1698): m. Phoebe Richardson (1632--)
- Baldwin, Charles Candee, The Baldwin Genealogy, from 1500 to 1881, 1881. On p. 615-616, "1. Henry Baldwin, of Woburn, was a freeman there in 1652. Sewell's 'History of Woburn' says he was a subscriber in Charlestown to the town orders for Woburn, in 1640, and after that a distinguished citizen of the latter town. ... The name appears there as Henry Bolden, but his own signature to his will is well written and spelled. Henry was then evidently young. ... He lived at 'New Bridge,' or North Woburn, where in each succeeding generation some of his descendants have lived and been large owners of land. He was Selectman in 1681, and a Deacon from 1686 to his death. There is a tradition in later days that he came from Devonshire, in England, as there is also among the descendants of John, of Billerica. The latter married Mary Richardson cousin of wife of Henry. I think it not unlikely that they are related. It will be seen in my account of John, that the older tradition was that he was from Hertfordshire. ... Henry m., Nov. 1, 1649 (Sewell says Nov. 1, and Savage says Sept. 1), Phebe, eldest dau. Ezekiel Richardson, of Woburn, and b. perhaps in England; bapt. in Boston, June 3, 1632, and perhaps b. there, where her parents, Ezekiel and Susanna, appeared in 1630. He d. - Cutter, William Richard, New England Families, Genealogical and Memorial, 1913. In 1:328, "Joseph Baldwin, son of Richard Baldwin, of Cholesbury, near Ashton Clinton, county Bucks, England, must have come to Milford, either with the original settlers from New Haven or Wethersfield, in 1639, or else almost immediately after them, as he is of record there in that year. Five years later, January 23, 1644, his wife Hannah joined the church there, and had their first four children baptized; the next year two more were baptized, and four years later a seventh. Of the last two children no record of baptism has been found. About 1663 Joseph Baldwin and his family removed to Hadley, where he and his son Joseph were admitted as freemen in 1666. Meanwhile his wife Hannah had died and Joseph Sr. married (second) Isabel Ward, sister to Deacon Lawrence Ward, of Newark, and George Ward, of Branford, the father of John Ward, the turner of Newark. As the Widow Catlin, Isabel and her son John had been among the original settlers of Newark from Branford in 1666; but while John had remained in the new settlement to become one of its foremost men and its first schoolmaster, his mother had removed to Hadley, married again, this time, James Northam, and before September, 1671, on the 2nd of which month she was granted as the wife of Joseph Baldwin and 'sister', i.e., sister-in-law of Elizabeth the widow, letters of administration on the estate of her brother, Deacon Lawrence Ward, she had become a widow a second time and married her third husband, Joseph Baldwin. The administration, as the East Jersey Deeds tell us, she turned over to 'her son John Catline and her kinsman John Warde, turner, both of Newark'. She does not appear to have borne her second and third husbands any children; she died in Hadley, December 8, 1676. Shortly after this Joseph Baldwin married (third) Elizabeth Hitchcock, widow of William Warriner, of Springfield, by whom likewise Joseph seems to have had no children, although she survived him over twelve years, dying April 25, 1696. Joseph Baldwin died November 2, 1684, but long before his death he conveyed a half interest in his homestead in Hadley to his son Joseph Jr., who died about three years before his father. The will of Joseph Sr. is recorded in Northampton, Massachusetts, and is dated December 20, 1680, and in it he gives his Milford property to his three sons, Joseph, Benjamin, and Jonathan, and the remainder of his estate to his wife and other children."

Richard Baldwin (1576-1632): m. Isabella Harding (1568--)
- Baldwin, Charles Candee, The Baldwin Genealogy From 1500 to 1881, 1881. On p. 23-24: "Richard Baldwin, of Cholesbury, weaver, made his will, dated 23 May, 1630 ... proved the will in the Court of the Archdeaconry of Bucks, 16 May, 1633. 'In the name of God, amen. Mr. Chester can find no traces of the three sons, Timothy, Nathaniel and Joseph, after the probate in 1633. He thinks there can be but little if any doubt that they are the ones who emigrated to New England, appearing in 1639 in Milford, Connecticut, with the other Baldwins from Aston Clinton."
- Chester, Joseph Lemuel, Investigations Concerning the Family of Baldwin, of Aston Clinton, 1884. On p. 9-10, "I find, however, the will of a Richard Baldwin, of Cholsbury, 'weaver,' dated 23 May, 1630 ... To Isabell my wife one third of my goods & chattels - to Nathaniel my son £10 - to Joseph my son half an acre of land called Hunt's Wick, when 21 - to my daughter Mary Pratt 6s 8d & to her daughter Mary 2 sheep, & her other 2 children each a sheep - to my daughter Hannah £13.6.8, & my 2 other daughters Christian & Sarah each £10, when 21 or married - all residue to Timothy my eldest son, and he to be my executor. The son Timothy proved the will, in the Court of the Archdeaconry of Bucks, 16 May, 1633. Although this Richard evidently could not have been the one who had the Cholsbury lands in 1552-3, unless he had these children in his extreme old age, yet it seems not unlikely that he was his son, and, as I can find no traces of the three sons Timothy, Nathaniel and Joseph named in the will, after the probate in 1633, I think there can be little if any doubt that they were the three of those names who emigrated to New England, appearing at Milford in 1639."
Richard Baldwin (c1585-1660): m. Philippa Cockman (--1641)
- Baldwin, Charles Candee, The Baldwin Genealogy, from 1500 to 1881, 1881. On p. 45, "20. Richard4 Sylvester3 Henry2 Richard1 was living 1622 and 1632/3, but was apparently dead at the date of the will of his brother Henry, in 1661. By his wife Phillippa, who was buried at Aston Clinton 30 July, 1641, he had the following children whose baptisms appear as follows in the records of that parish ... I think he was the Richard who m. in Aylesbury, in April, 1607, Phillipa Corbman ... I should look to him soonest of any as the father of John of Billerica, and Henry of Woburn. John and Henry both married in Woburn. They lived at some distance from each other, but Henry was witness to John's will in 1686."
