On p. 77, 81, 154: "1 Apr. 1789 John Dunbar called for jury duty; 29 Apr. 1789 John Dunbar levied in 1788 by county for one old wolf head; "Court of Tuesday 24 June 1794 ... The last will and testament of John Dumbar (Dunbar?) deceased presented in court and proved by oaths of Henry Mossican and John Walker, two of the witnesses thereto who also deposed they saw Peter Cline, the other witness, sign the same. Ordered to record. Sarah Dumbar (Dunbar?) and Reubin Dumbar (Dunbar?), the executors named therein entered into bond with their securities in the amount of 500 pounds to obtain a certificate to obtain probate of this estate. Ordered Peter Shewmaker, John Wilson, George Sea, and James Jerrett to appraise in current money the slaves if any and personal estate of John Dumbar deceased and return the appraisement to court."
