Cemeteries

East Texas became "home" to many of our ancestors, as evidenced by the burials in the cemeteries listed below, they and many of their descendants are buried in these local cemeteries. I've chosen at this time to focus on these local cemeteries by creating pdf files of our family members buried in these cemeteries, the links are listed below. This is in no way to slight the ones buried elsewhere, I just have found it very interesting to see the many local connections.

The Find-a-Grave link will take you to that particular cemetery, which includes my submissions, but will include all other submissions to that particular cemetery. The other links will take you to other websites, such as the Smith County web site that I've submitted tombstone photos and burial information to.

Bascom Cemetery

Bethesda Cemetery

Damascus Cemetery

is located East of Lindale on Hwy 16 beside the Red Springs Baptist Church, Smith County, Texas

is located at 2400 South Donnybrook, Tyler, Smith County, Texas

Sabine Cemetery

is located Northeast of Lindale, Smith County, Texas

Sand Flat Cemetery

is located Sand Flat Community, Smith County, Texas
