Her parents were married in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1857 per the application for a Confederate States Pension applied for by Nancy A. Daniel, Mary Harriet A. Daniel's mother. This application was filed from Stephenville, Texas in 1899. A book on the Keller family says that Mary Harriet A. Daniel and James Benjamin Keller were married in Tarrent County, Texas on 15 Sep 1878.
