James A. Glasscock, Retired Farmer, Dies: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the Rose Center Assembly of God in Tyler, for James A. Glasscock, 71, resident of Smith County for 59 years, who died at his home, 1819 North Fannin. He was born in Henderson, Ky. He had been ill for one year.
    The Rev. D.D. Lewis will conduct the services and burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery, with Burks-Walker-Tippit in charge. Pallbearers will be Oscar Raines, Jr. Vestal Wells, Emory Jones, Curtis Terr, Homer Kennedy and Jack Kennedy.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Belle Glasscock of Tyler, five sons, James (J.W.) Glasscock, Dewey Glasscock, Barney Lee Glasscock, and Tommy Lee Glasscock, all of Tyler. Nine daughters, Mrs. J.I. Wells, Mineola, Mrs. Claude Duncan, Mineola, Mrs. Oscar Kendricks, Tyler, Mrs. Tom Flewellen, Longview, Mrs. C. L. Spradling, Tulare, Calif., Mrs. O.F. Kennedy, Big Spring, Mrs. F. A. Cape, Waco, Mrs. W. A. Price, Jr. Tyler, and Mrs. E.H. Kennedy, Tyler. Two brothers Sam and Lewis Glasscock of Mineola and two sisters, Mrs. Prudie Edwards, Tyler and Mrs. A.G. Long Ennis. He is also survived by 40 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
