Ole Davidson SKJELLEGRIND and Serene Pedersdatter HVIDHAMMERGJERDET settled in Red Wing, MN in the mid-1860's.  Serene was from Waernes, Stjordal, Nord Trondelag, Norway & Ole was from Skei, Sparbu, Nord Trondelag.  He was a joiner and did decorative wood carving as well.  The Goodhue County Historical Society has one of the tables he carved.  Our cousin Marguerite may have been the last Davidson, but I am hoping she has distant cousins for whom this information will be interesting.
