From Lysle Boulevard (Route 148) ~ At the Eat and Park go up the hill on Coursin Avenue.
Old St. Joseph Cemetery is located at the intersection of Coursin and Versailles, on either side of Coursin Avenue.
It is adjacent to and separated from Fairview Cemetery by a row of hedges.
PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE NOT OFFICIAL RECORDS.
We were approached by the manager of the cemetery offices for The Catholic Cemeteries Association of the Diocese of Pittsburgh for help in retrieving information from Old St. Joseph Cemetery, as any official records were lost in a fire in the 1920's. We tried to record all of the tombstone inscriptions that we were able to decipher and present them here, for your benefit.
Note: many are weathered too badly to read, some are broken or fallen, some buried and some overgrown with bushes.
