Taskers in Cambridgeshire
Cambridgeshire Tasker records on the IGI are interesting as they start in 1599 and end in 1736, with just 19 records listed.
Mary, the daughter of John Tasker, is the first person recorded, with her christening on 16 March 1599 at Dry Drayton, a village 6 miles north-west of Cambridge city. She married Francis Annable on 3 May 1620, some three years after her presumed sister Alice married Ralph Farrington.
Most of the other Taskers listed are the daughters of Tobias Tasker and Mary in Wisbech, born in the early 1700s.
