Despite the Swyrich Corporation maintaining that the Tasker's family crest goes back to the Essex Taskers of 1185, the IGI only has 11 records of Essex Taskers, the oldest being from just before 1750.

William Tasker married Mary Harvey on 29 October 1747 at Saint James Church, Colchester, then, seven months later, Jane Tasker married Samuel Bolsover on 12 May 1748 at St Marys, Leyton.
