Gulimus (or William) Tasker is the first Nottinghamshire IGI record, christened on 3 November 1633, the son of Thomas and Joan Tasker of Lenton. There's then a break of nearly 100 years until the next Nottinghamshire Taskers, with Oxton, North Collingham, Mansfield and Kelham as the main Tasker centres. However with only 24 IGI records in total, Nottinghamshire is certainly not a major Tasker stronghold!
