Christian, the daughter of Edward Tasker, christened on 12 November 1598 at Long Ashton, near Bristol, marks the first Tasker birth on the IGI in Somerset. Then five years later John Tusker, marrying Amise Hellier on 20 January 1603 in Stogursey, a small village near Bridgewater Bay, marks the first marriage.

However there's then a break of 100 years till the next Tasker event, and only 35 records in total, meaning that Somerset is not a major Tasker county.
