The background picture is "Bloomsbury" outside of Orange, VA. It was the home of James Taylor II, III, IV, and Hubbard I (for about four years). Hubbard later helped his father sell it and the Quarles family lived there followed by the Jerdones. The last surviving Jerdone sisters sold it to Jaquelin (Jack) E. Taylor who gave it to his bride, Helen Marie Taylor, as a wedding present. Helen Marie is in the process of setting up a foundation for the care of "Bloomsbury"and the surrounding 600 acres in perpetuity. Jerdone Mountain is in the left background (also known as Quarles Mountain--especially on the other side).
