Ozz W. Relfe

Published 26 April 1966 in Anderson [Indiana] Daily Bulletin:

Ozz W. Relfe, 70, Fairmount, father of Mrs. Norman (Mildred) Grant of Anderson, suffered a heart attack Monday and died at 1 p.m. Monday at Marion General Hospital.

A resident of Fairmount all his life, he farmed and operated a trucking company for 40 years. He was also a member of the U. S. Trotting Association.

Surviving are his wife, Georgia; a son, Wayne Relfe of Faimount; two daughters, Mrs. Grant of Anderson and Mrs. Tom (Alice) Bair of Summitville.

Friends are being received at the Hunt Funeral Home in Fairmount. Final services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery at Fairmount.

Walter R. Relfe, Summitville, Dies

Published 16 December 1957 in Anderson [Indiana] Daily Bulletin:

Walter R. Relfe, RR 2, Summitville, died Saturday evening at the family home following an illness of several years. He had been seriously ill for the past two days.

Relfe was a former employee of the old Union Tractor Co., and a retired farmer. He had been a lifelong resident of Grant County.

Surviving are: a daughter, Miss Frances Relfe, and a brother, Ozzie R. Relfe, both at home.

The body was taken to the Shawley Memorial Chapel and Monday was returned to the residenc where friends are being received. Service will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Grant Methodist Church in Summitville with burial in the Grant Memorial Cemetery.

Obituaries of Dale Stinson: (source unknown) Services for Dale I Stinson, 65, of 240 Andover Rd., who died Friday, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home by the Rev. Don Grandlinard of Arrow Avenue Wesleyan Methodist Church. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Friends are being received in the funeral home.

Dale I. Stinson

Dale I. Stinson, 65, 240 Andover Rd., died at 1 p.m. Friday at St. John's Hospital.

Mr. Stinson was born May 17, 1896, in Summitville and was the son of George and Anna Stinson. He came to Anderson while a child. He retired three years ago from the Emge Packing Co., because of poor health. Since that time he has been affiliated with the Anderson Park System.

Surviving are: the widow, Bernice; a son, Darwin Stinson, Anderson; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jaunita Ramsey, Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Nicholson, Gas City, and Mrs. Opal Lawson, Union City; a brother, Manson Stinson, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and several nephews and nieces.

The body was taken to the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home where friends will be received after 7 p.m. today. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gravel Lawn Cemetery at Fortville.

Fairmount Woman Critical

Mrs. Anna Stinson, age 74, of Fairmount, is critically ill, with heart disease in Hoppes Lying-in Hospital.

Fairmount Woman Dies in Hospital

FAIRMOUNT, April 15 [1938]--Mrs Cynthia Anna Stinson, age 76, of here, died today at 10 p.m. in Hoppes Lying-in Clinic, Anderson. She had been in a critical condition for several days.

The body was taken to the Polhemus and Shirey funeral home at Daleville and will be removed to the family home Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Fairmount Friends church with the Rev. John McCorkle officiating. Burial will be in Zion cemetery near Matthews.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Cora Briles Swayzee, rural route one, and Mrs. Opal Lawson, of Anderson rural route five; three sons, Clarence Stinson of Marion; Regina Stinson of Sask., Canada, and Dale Stinson, of Anderson; sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Ice, of Summitville, and several nephews and nieces.
